Barnaby’s is a community coffee shop in the beautiful village of Swanmore, set next to St.Barnabas Church. Originally built in Victorian times as the Old School Room, it had a rich history in education until the Primary School was built across the road. After a long period of little use by the village or the church, the building was completely refurbished in 2014 by a team of volunteers, and Barnaby’s opened for business in October that year.

Images from Barnaby’s history hang on its walls today.

Barnaby’s is a vibrant hub for the Meon Valley, providing a comfortable place to relax, meet friends and chat. You’ll find freshly ground real coffee and the most wonderful homemade cakes, alongside hot chocolate, tea, cold drinks etc. Because Barnaby’s is run entirely by volunteers, you’ll always get a lovely welcome!
