December at Barnaby’s

Our new Christmas specials are here! Choose from:

  • a yummy homemade gingerbread man and a  delicious gingerbread latte for just £3!  It’s a classic combination that’s well worth a try, particularly on colder days. Bring a friend and try one each!
  • our famous Festive Hot Chocolate now features cream, marshmallows & sprinkles in a large cup, all for just £2. Perfect for our younger customers.
  • finally, our wonderful bakers have made you yummy Snowflake Cookies, available at just £1.50. Come on in to Barnaby’s and have a try!

Helping Hooves return

One our favourite local causes is Helping Hooves.  Based here in Swanmore, Helping Hooves assist those experiencing change caused by illness, injury, recovery or other trauma. So we’re looking forward to seeing “Mouse” and “Hamish” here on Saturday 18th November, to be brushed and loved by Barnaby’s customers . Bring an apple or a carrot!

As is customary on our Charity Awareness Days,  we’ll be giving half of our takings on the day, plus anything you are able to donate through our ‘Tap n’Go’ service.

Classic Cars @ Barnaby’s 2024 dates

In partnership with yeomansyearbook.org.uk and the Swanmore Parish Council, we are pleased to confirm 7 dates for the Classic Cars @ Barnaby’s events in 2024.

DOORS OPEN 1000 to 1300
CARS OVER 30 YEARS OLD WELCOME
NO NEED TO REGISTER – JUST TURN UP

We frequently host over 60 cars at each event, so you’ll find us in the main car park opposite Barnaby’s (see pic above). If you are planning to display a car or two, you may arrive any time from 0945, when a marshal will show you to a space.

The event will be supported by Barnaby’s “popup” coffee shop, serving coffee, tea and yummy homemade cakes made by our friends at Bishops Waltham Country Market. Barnaby’s will nominate a charity on the day, and all our proceeds will go to that charity. Fingers crossed for the weather!

Classic Car Summer series ends on Saturday

Our ever-popular Classic Car Summer Series ends this Saturday, with close to 60 cars expected of all shapes and sizes. If you are planing to display a car or two, you may arrive any time from 0945, when a marshal will show you to a space.

The event will be supported by Barnaby’s “popup” coffee shop, serving coffee, tea and yummy homemade cakes made by volunteers in the village and our friends at Bishops Waltham Country Market. Barnaby’s will donate ALL of the takings on the day to local charity the St.George Foundation.

Meet the First Responders here today

Our Charity Awareness Scheme will continue on Saturday, with the arrival of the South Central Ambulance Charity (SCAC). Please come along and meet a First Responder, climb in to their ambulance, find out what they do, and see the equipment they carry.

We’ll be supporting the SCAC by donating half of our takings on the day, in addition to any funds collected. Head to scascharity.org.uk/about-us to find out more about the SCAC.

Calling all cake bakers!

Once more, we are delighted to be playing our part in the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. So on Saturday, our amazing volunteers look forward to serving you  with coffee and yummy homemade cake from 10am to 1pm. Save the date! Bring your family and your friends and be part of something truly amazing!

Fancy baking a cake for Macmillan?  Please drop your marvellous creation – large or small –  in to Barnaby’s at 5pm on Friday 29th or at 9am on Saturday 30th. It all counts, so thank you!
